Character: Hamlet vs Elizabeth

Character varies between a tragic play and a novel. Character in a novel like Pride and Prejudice allows characters to be introduced in a variety of way wether its gossip, conversation or a narrator. On the other hand characters in a play are not introduced like ones in a novel. Elizabeth from Pride and Prejudice changes though out the novel. Her changes is more for the social norm at the time. However she did change internally from not wanting to marry to wanting to marry. Hamlet's change through out the play is very internal. With the incentives from the ghost Hamlet was very independent with his change, however he effected others more then Elizabeth did.
